Tour Requests
Waco Regional Airport is pleased to offer educational and community tours for schools, civic organizations, youth groups, and other interested groups, subject to operational availability. Airport tours provide a unique behind-the-scenes look at how the airport operates, offering participants the opportunity to learn about aviation, explore careers in the aviation industry, and gain a greater understanding of the people, facilities, and services that keep the airport running safely and efficiently. Tour stops may include the terminal, airfield observation areas, Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) facilities, and other airport facilities, as available.
Tours typically include both indoor and outdoor locations and require participants to walk for portions of the tour. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Please note that Waco Regional Airport is unable to provide tours of the FAA Air Traffic Control Tower. Requests to tour the control tower must be coordinated directly with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and are subject to FAA approval and availability.
Advance scheduling is required. To request an airport tour, please submit a tour request form and a member of the airport staff will reach out to you directly.
